The Plains Game rifle I have been planning and waiting for the past 2 years is now finished. The action was the big delay, but I thik it was worth the wait.
Kevin Weaver shot the first 5 round through it on 4/2/07 (Pic link below}, not bad for a 6lb 5oz rifle I think the groups will tighten up as the barrel is broken in.

500 grains Sorry its not a 30-06, mauser weighing 9lbs.

300 wsm
Borden Alpine action
Rock Creek #1 24"
High Tech sheep hunter stock
Jewell Triger
PT&G Bottom Metal

thats a fine grouping for a .300 and quite an interesting stock. nice looking gun for sure. if you dont mind the asking, about how much would a fine riffle such as that go for?

Just talked to kevin He said a rifle with the componets the same as my rifle $3200.
Much cheaper than a Echols or Jarret but a much better rifle. Will out shoot either, and kevin is much more accomadating that either Jarret or Echols.
