Hi,

I am a hunting agent and appentice ph with two safari companies in africa and offer my own services to hunters visiting the uk. I thought I would introduce this poll to get an idea of the bigger picture from the people that really matter in the hunting/safari industry, you the clients.

Hopefully from this feed back, I can get a better idea of what, where and who so i can offer an increased level of service to customers hunting with me in the uk or when im out in the bush with clients comming to hunt in africa.

Its just a bit of basic research and if you feel you would like to add any further comments it will all be gratefully recieved.

Many thanks.

If a question isn't applicable to you the poll doesn't work. Every question must be answered it seems. Also, many people don't hunt lion, ele, or the exact same species every year. Something in particular may be their target this year but not next. At least give a "not applicable" choice where needed.

Your most common other than Africa country (yes I realize Africa is a continent) was Canada but the later answer to what animals you hunt other than Africa failed to include Canadian species other than generic "bears" hence the large n/a response.

Canada has many indigenous species such as deer (caribou, moose, elk, whitetail, mule deer), bears (Black, Brown and Polar), sheep (Dall, Stone, Fanin, Mt. Bighorn???) as well as , Pronghorn, Bison, Wolves, Cats and more I'm sure I missed.

There are two areas that I was required to provide misleading answers. First, as a Canadian, most of my hunting is in Canada, and for me, that is hardly abroad, so I answered with another destintion. Second, most of my international hunting is for bird game, including Africa, with the exception of Namibia. Therefore I had to answer the international game species sought as "non-applicable". I provide these caveats to assist in your interpretation of the results.

Hunters are probably a more varied lot than most folks surmise.
