I would like to extend a limited offer to our members here...

"Photo(s)in EXCHANGE for Artwork and Print(s)"

Several people have mentioned that I should pursue my PASSION for my Artwork and dedicate more time to it.

After much consideration...I've decided to commit myself to this new endeavor and begin to build my new website, ~ Africa Wildlife Imagery ~ ...

If all things go as planned I will be going to Zambia next year to spend a couple weeks afield with our own PH Andrew Baldry to photograph more material and increase my stock inventory. And perhaps a couple days of hunting too.

In the meantime, I will continue working with my own current material and offering for a very limited time... "Photo(s) FOR Artwork/Print(s)"

I am particularly interested in clear High Res Images of African Wildlife. Images do NOT have to be full-body photos only, but can be of a part of the animal.... i.e., detailed image of the mouth/head region of a lion you have shot, or the paws of a leopard or foot pad of an elephant, a zebra hide, or horns, etc.

Maybe you have a photo of a herd of hippo in the river, or maybe a herd of elephant traversing the landscape or visiting the waterhole...the list can be endless!

Plainsgame of all species and gender will be considered as well.

Every animal from the African Continent qualifies,...but photos MUST be clear.

I will also consider certain scenic photos, perhaps, a river like the Zambezi, maybe a special photo of a dry riverine, etc.

You may contact me/send photos via email if you believe you may have something of interest for this limited-time offer.

I'll look them over and determine if your submitted photo(s) meet my criteria and be of use to me.

I welcome "commissioned" projects as well...

Best to all,

Roland

For the sake of convenience you are welcome to provide a "link" below if you have your photos here in the Africa Big Game Hunting or Hunting Reports-Africa Forums where I can view all your photos.

This will alleviate taking up more bandwidth than necessary and it's redundancy.

Otherwise, please do NOT post photos directly onto this thread as I want to keep this thread for reference only; as it will only add to much confusion for me later while trying to keep an accurate account of all submissions.

Again, if you are NOT providing a "link" and would like to submit a photo(s), then contact/send via email.

Best to all,

Roland

Roland,

You are welcome to use any of mine for no charge.

A couple of considerations:

1. High resolution images could be produced as poster sized prints on good quality paper/card?

2. Have you considered options on framing and thus putting together the whole package or at least pricing it as an option?

The beauty of your art is that it is in print form and thus affordable. Normally you would run a print number of so many copies for example a limited edition of 100. As these prints become more sought after the more valuable they become.

You will also need landscape pictures as back drops for your montages.

Best

Andrew

Andrew that's a big YES my friend on all accounts.

Your very kind and generous offer to use your images FREE of CHARGE is genuinely appreciated and taken deep to heart.

1. Yes, I've made inquiries with several printing labs and sample swatches are already on their way.

Prints will be made available on Archival-Quality Photo Paper, Card, and Canvas/Giclee Prints.

2. Yes, framing will be an option. I'm getting advice/suggestions from a local gallery owner/artist in regards to suppliers of quality frames that he has been involved with for a number of years.

I will be running Limited Edition of 80 prints.

And yes, I could use more variety of landscape scenes for montages! Oops, I missed that!
Definitely could use more stock!

I appreciate your help and support very much my friend beer

In regards to the email inquiries I've received thus far in regards to Print Sizes and Prices...

Print Sizes:
8x12
12x18
16x24
20x30
24x36

Prices are still to be determined as I am in discussions presently with three different printing labs. Proofs have to be made and approved... and I want prints in hand of all my pieces...so I can be assured that it meets my satisfaction and approval before being shipped to my clients!

Print Quality is paramount at fair market value and once the negotiations are through and my website created I will announce this here.

Also, I will list beneath each IMAGE in my GALLERY the suggested viewing distance for these enlargements to further help in your ease of choice....i.e.,

~Nyala Fever ~

16x24

Suggested Viewing Distance: 6+ Feet

Thank you all for the many kind words you have sent me regarding this new venture. And thank you to those especially who are granting me permission to use your Original Photos for me to create the PASSION I have for Africa Wildlife Imagery. tu2

Also, I appreciate the amount of COMMISSIONED PROJECTS I have received to date... And if anyone else is interested in me doing a special project like an i-book type of project for your safari...Your inquiries are welcomed!
