You might try Gerhardt Optik. Nickel is their product and they were very good about overhauling my older Zeiss scope. They will give you an estimate of repair costs/overhaul. Then they require the money being wired to their bank prior to starting repairs. The turnaround time was quick once my bank figured out how to do international wire transfers.

Contact Tigertate - he just had a Nickel scope overhauled and it turned out very well.

I have just "inherited" a scope. It is a B. Nickel, 1-4xE/S.
It is marked Marburg/L made in Germany.

Can anyone give me info on this scope?

I have never heard of this brand. However, it has a black semi-circular "obstruction" when you look through it. This is at the bottom of the lense when you look through it the right way round and at the top when you look through it front to back! Any idea what it could be? It is not dirt or a stain. Any ideas on who might be able to service this scope?

Thanks
