Assuming you have a Garmin, you can probably download one for the whole of southern Africa from their website at www.garmin.com

One of the best detailed maps available is from "Tracks 4 Africa" you pay a small download fee and they are compatible with the Garmin GPS. They are well worth it. They show all the offroad tracks, sand roads, campsites etc. They are available for the most of Southern Africa

Mate, those tracks4africa must have improved a lot since I last looked at them. I saw them a year or so ago they were OK on dirt roads and highways but had little or no street maps.
