We used Andy Hunter, also a PH, very satisfactorily. This was dip and pack only. I advise getting the taxidermy done here in the USA. If spoiled capes, skins, or horns arrive you are not out the cost of taxidermy plus extra shipping cost.

Why would you want to have your taxidermy done in Bulawayo?

Cuan visited us in camp last week, and I will be having them do several Ele skin panels for me. I have not had work done by them previously.

HBH,

Are you getting boots from them also? Last week I was at their shop in Bulawayo!and I was amazed at life like work they do with African animals. We are getting 3 animals there, and I am not worried about they will look or turn out.

I have a cape buffalo , as well as a bushbuck and zebra there now. Recommended by Martin Pieters Safaris. Hoping for the best, although taxidermy has been the most frustrating part of my safari experiences.

I used TCI in 2011, their work was great. I had a Kudu Shoulder mount, Kudu Back skin and Waterbuck European mount done. I will be using them again. Paula Bortolan was a great help, she replied to all my emails very quickly.

With kind regards
Mike

Martin recommended TCI to me as well. At present they are preparing to ship a couple of purses, two rifle cases, and dipped and packed 2 buff, waterbuck, bushbuck, and kudu, Dealing with them via email has been fine; Carol is quite responsive and worked well with me on selecting the items they made from my back skins. But I haven't seen the results yet. That I am really looking forward to. Soon.....
