Congrats, Steve!

Congrats to my friend, Steve Ahrenberg, on his beautiful trophy room making a full 2 page spread in the latest issue of Sports Afield.

Looks great and I know how many memories are housed in there for you.

I've enjoyed my time in there each time I step into there... even when working! Such a great room.

Could not find a sports afield at Barnes and noble or walmart. Seems gloss fashion lifestyle entertainment tactical magazines are the new in thing.

Might have to wait for Steve to get done with his crazy bike ride to send me a copy.

Have not seen it yet. I'm in Missoula, Montana right now. Nursing injuries that took me out of the race on day, eight. Can't wait to see it. If they used the photo I suspect they did, none of your work is on that wall. The only one that I think there isn't any on.

Scotty also assisted me in organizing and hanging everything in there. Nearly got killed by a giraffe in the process.

Larry you are quite correct, My posting F&S was a brain fart.

Sports afield, American hunter, Texas Parks and wildlife and Safari are the only Magazines I have subscriptions for, and Sports Afield Is the best of the bunch IMO. I have no idea where that F&Scame from. I guess it is just senility setting in with old age!

I'm a subscriber and haven't received it yet. To all others, it is one of the best hunting magazines out there, next to Game Trails. I still get creeped out by Shane Mohoney's picture from his time on TAA.

Creeped out as well with S. Mahoney in Sports Afield mag. When it arrives, I simply cut out the pages he is on, toss them in the circle file, then never have to risk them popping up while enjoying the rest of the mag. Works for me.
