Too many variables in my opinion though 2 might qualify as an answer:

1. How about the 757 which could be an aircraft or a caliber in millimeters (7x57) whereas all others are in inches or, it is the smallest of all those listed and not considered legal for DG? Big Grin

2. I would opt for the 600NE while all others different category; also has the heaviest recoil after the 505 and doesn't have much popularity except for real PHs. Wink

This is a trick question! Big Grin

757 is metric unlike the others but is missing an "x" between the 7 and the 57.

That makes it the odd man out.

757 is also different in that 7mm is bore diameter: .275591".

Bullet and groove diameter for the 7x57 is .284".

All the others are decimal bullet and groove diameters.

But 404 is wrong in that it is really .423".

But 600 is also wrong in that it is really .620".

I'm going to plead insanity. Big Grin

458 is the odd one because it's American, not European.

Hahaha!

What Bell use??

If it wasn’t for all the silly rules about “dangerous” game and what is legal to hunt them with, I would be using my own 30 Special!

It is the 7x57 necked up to 30 caliber.

I have absolutely no doubt no animal would tell the difference! jumping

Based on Andrew’s clue to look at your watch face, 375 is the outlier. All the others can be represented as times, i.e. 4:04, 7:57, etc.

You seriously taking Andrew on his word testing others IQ?

He has spent all his life in the African sun.

Which isn’t much different to where we live in the desert.

Generally, non of us are born with much between our ears, and what little we have gets evaporated by the heat of the sun!

Anyone attempting to answer this question isn’t much different to us! rotflmo

But you are such a good shot. I need a 500NE to compensate for my poor shooting. Cool

I am probably one of the worst flinchers when it comes to hunting!

I yank the trigger so hard sometimes I get the rifle off the shooting sticks! rotflmo
