I've had this video for a little while now but have just gotten around to posting it.

My buddy Dave Fulson's Safari Classics crew did the filming and editing this time. I haven't received the raw footage yet to make my own edits but the professional edit is here in the link. As such, it's a bit long for an AR post so I'd suggest fast forwarding to the 35:30 point to see the good part.

I took this bull on day 3 and took another on day 9. Andy, our camera man got sick the 4th morning so we only got the one kill on film.

Enjoy.

Thankyou Todd. I did indeed enjoy watching your hunt.
Been in Dande twice myself, with Alan. Love the hunting there. Great to see Bernie, Maplan and Martin again. They don't seem to age.

Congrats on your Buff taken on a typical Dande expedition.
CMS are a top shelf outfit through and through.

Great video Todd, and a very nice bull.

Looks like you were swapping between a 375 M70 and CZ? No double this time?

And was that Alan Shearing as PH?

Congratulations Todd! That was a very good film, and a very fine buffalo as well! Thank you for posting the film for those of us who are now too old, and feble to chase buffalo any longer! At least we can enjoy your hunt on film!

Very nice. Just well balanced. No endless footage of useless moments, no drama of the fear when hunting buffalo, etc.. Excellent job.

Thanks guys.

Baxter, yep, no double this time out. Just figured I'd so something different and go back to the way I did it on my first buff hunt in 2006 with the open sighted Rigby.

I took the second bull on day 9 with the 375. It was the same bull that posed out in the open on the first stalk in the video where Al says "look at that tank".

Bud, CMS is tops. They treat you like you're their most important client even when you are far from it. And Al is the consummate professional, and a real pleasure to spend a safari with.

TBD, no. Didn't get the hyena. We only sat one time but he no showed.

Very nice Todd. Seeing the camp brings back many fond memories! My fist buff was taken out of Dande...same camp.

Can’t beat the CMS team!

Great video, thanks for posting it! I’m heading back to Dande in about 60 days to hunt with Al again; your video certainly increased my level of anticipation.

Very well done video. Especially enjoyed the encounter with the 1st day herd. Excellent job of staying with the herd and sorting through the bulls without spooking them. Thanks for posting.

Great video Todd! Well shot and executed, both the film and the buff!

One thing I really appreciate about these videos is seeing the terrain.

I definitely will have to add in some hill climbing to my safari preparations.
