Just curious- What would a reconfiguration cost? Is it just a matter of losing 3 or 4 rows and rebolting or what?

Another reason they could be losing money on the across pond flight is that Africans pay significantly less money for the same seats that we do. There are a lot more of them on the flights from all appearances. Seems they should do something about their pricing structure. I had suggested that in the email I sent.

anytime you do anything to a jet it costs millions, its crazy. It isnt as simple as it looks from the surface, I have a friend who is a jet mechanic and he explained it to me. Even to reconfigure a small business jet can cost a million. I had a another friend who had a Chalenger(SP?)601 who spent just over $800k on a new interior, granted it was all done up with fancy wood etc. it is only a 12 passenger jet at the most.
