Dear Guests

I see the UK house of commons has formally passed the law banning fox hunting with dogs to come into effect in 2005 I think !!

Is there anything possible (we can do in support) to help our good UK friends in battle over there, or is it a lost cause, or dont we care !!!!

Some hunters indicate they will ignore the ban ....

How can we help change the decision or hassle the authorities in power to come to their senses

Peter

Gasp!!!!. .........a single language divided by two nations as they say!!!!

"hunting" in the UK only correctly refers to hunting with hounds (not dogs!). Which means that it will be illegal to chase foxes with dogs.......oops sorry, hounds.

It will still be legal to shoot foxes though. I'm not sure if beagling (hunting hares with hounds) or minkhunting (again, with hounds) will still be legal.

It's very sad, but the writing has been on the wall for some years and IMO the next sport to be targeted will be organised (driven) pheasant shooting.

Some foxhunters say that they'll continue hunting anyway, but I doubt that very much as the Brits are far too lawabiding and also many of them will also hold firearm and shotgun licences and if found guilty of breaking the law would then risk having their licences revoked......and I doubt many will risk that.

I'm a Brit myself, and the political correctness bullshit over there is one of the things that keeps me away from the place.

This is a part of what they have been doing for hundreds of yrs. & has been a part of there way of life & now some jerks in parliament want to ban it . Whats next???? We all need to e-mail-shout-cuss & ban together to do what ever we can to assist hunters in need. THE VOICES OF HUNTERS NEED TO BE HEARD , SO LETS START SOUNDING OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
