Not sure who has the master lease, but Richie Schultz is a first-rate PH who hunts there.

Someone who bears a striking resemblance to me overconsumed whiskey last night and bought a buffalo hunt on Nuanetsi.

This is the operator:
https://leeuwkophuntingsafaris.co.za/

Is anyone familiar with them?

Nevermind, I’m going to Matetsi, silly whiskey is still affecting my brain. Regardless, does anyone know about the current state or the operator above?

A South African outfitter hunting in Zimbabwe. He must have a Zimbo PH and outfitter as a partner. I wonder who and what area. Which Matetsi unit? Good luck.

Thanks, Karl. I was bidding on that TZ buffalo hunt, but the TZ fees are always unknown. This seems to be a fairly clear explanation and discount PG rates for members.

RCG,

Yes, I realize it’s an outfitter from RSA and that they must employ a Zimbo for a PH.

I know that several first-class Zimbabwe PHs hunt Nuanetsi, and maybe it would have been wise to contact them first? However I hope you enjoyed a good Whiskey.

Hunting Zimbabwe, hunt with a Zimbabwe outfitter.

If I was hunting South Africa, I would hunt with a South African outfitter!

Richie Schultz is a first class PH and a lot of fun to hunt with. Contact him directly.
The concession is owned by the well known Zimbabwean businessman, Billy Rautenbach. He has a colourful history!

From his later comments, he is not hunting on Nuanetsi but one of the Matetsi units. It doesn't appear he knows which one or the Zim ph that will actually be conducting the hunt.

The website for the South African outfitter does not say where and who they hunt with in Zimbabwe.

A friend hunted Matetsi 1, when he and his partner arrived, there wasn’t a PH for either of them. The next morning two SA PH’s flew into camp to hunt with them. Outfitter was from SA also, but the outfitter did have a Zim partner, who happened to be a general, so I guess everything was good.

I looked at their website, they hunt the "Dangerous 7". They have eight photos of six animals: Lion, Buffalo, Elephant, Leopard, Hippo and Crocodile. lol

Have to ask why you would hunt Matesti with a SA operator when Zim PH's have treated you so well?
