I have a new one in the box at $100 or a scratched up one for $50.00, but your probably going to reblue it anyway so I'd go with the $50. one....the other is collectable..It will work with the Talley if you use the right height sight available from Redfield, Lyman etc.

The only advantage these sights have is they have the standard dovetail as per your request, otherwise the NECG barrel band is probably a better sight, except from a nostalgic standpoint like on a Springfield..

Ah! Well, in that case I'll likely go with NECG. This proposed piece is strictly a using gun like my .375 rather than a piece of nostalgia like the African battery. Hell, I may even go the extreme of a synthetic stock though I'm leaning strongly towards Serengeti for now. Thanx for the info and the head's up.

Good hunting, brother
