Three will fit in the Ruger, but they will only compress ~ 1 mm down further into the mag. It can be a bit of a bitch to slide #4 over the full magazine, at least in my rifle.

Mine fits 3 down fine. I would need to have another .300" of room to fit 4 down. 3+1 Rigby is enough.

In regards to the Ruger & CZ I like Rugers 1/4 rib, but I like cz's action lug for I think there is a little difference in that area. RAB might be able to expand on that. No doubt the Ruger is prettier.

Niels - the CZ certainly needs more done to it but is obviously cheaper to start with. On my CZ I've had 1.5 inches off the barrel, a barrel band sling swivel fitted, the stock whittled down to a classic English style with ebony forend tip and grip cap etc, a bigger foresight bead fitted. It looks and feels just the bit, but a Ruger requires much less done to it. I don't know which I would recommend, so soon I'll have both!
