On AR's link page there is a picture of I presume Saeed with a broke horn buffalo. I gotta admit that is the most impressive buff I have ever seen, broke horn and all. I tried searching for a discussion on it but couldn't find one. What a monster!!!

That is the biggest buffalo I have ever shot. It also happens to be the easiest buffalo hunt I have ever had. We were driving to a leoprad blin early in the afternoon, when we saw this bull and another one running next to our track. I jumped out of the truck, and a few minutes later we had both dead on teh ground! We drove to the leoprad blind, dropped off there, and the truck went back to collect the two bulls and take them to camp. He has a spread of 49 inches. He probably would have passed the 50 inch mark if he did not have his horn broken.

Thanks Saeed for the story behind that buff. I guess that story makes the point that if your not out there living life to the fullest nothing like that will ever come your way. I really like the photo because it's not a set up photo. Most photo's there is no blood in the picture. I supposed if I look hard enough I can see the sweat on your fore head. One of my favorite photo's is of Craig Bodington with,if I remember, a Bongo. He looks like he was dragged through the mud in the picture. Looks like he would trade his first born for a couple of hours sleep. Thanks for that photo Saeed.
