For what it is worth, think about this...

Tens of thousands of people will read this article linked from Drudge. A percentage of them will read through the comments.

I think this is a great opportunity for us as a hunting community to put out thoughtful information to educate those that are willing to listen and be objective about the subject.

Will Julie the cat lover from the suburbs who spends most of her time shopping online for skinny jeans and cute purses be persuaded from her faux outrage that African animals are hunted? Probably not. But fortunately, there are many open-minded people who are willing to listen if we put forth a great set of incontrovertible facts.

I know many, if not all, at one point or another have taken the time to put down some thoughts on this subject. How long would it take to copy and paste these into comment sections of articles such as this?

This would seem more effective than just bitching about it in this echo chamber of ours, huh?

Got a feeling Drudge is one of those conservatives that is opposed to hunting and is a supporter of animal rights. He posted a lot of that Cecil the lion BS and always posts some garbage stories attacking trophy hunting and hunters.

Agree. But it doesn't change the fact that our thoughts in the comments can reach a large audience.

Drudge is just a news aggregator, he doesn't write this hot garbage... just exposes everyone to it.

You mean like that paragon of conservative thought, the legendary(at least in his own mind) Michael Savage???

Yes, exactly. Michael Savage is probably the one putting the squeeze on trump not to issue trophy imports, especially elephants.

Let’s hunt
We”ll never convince non hunters about elephants hunting
We will always rely on governments to either allow us or not allow us to hunt them and it is unfortunate
But it is the way today world is with information superhighways and shit load of fake news and opinions
I don’t have any illusions whatsoever to make non hunters to make believe otherwise
Oh boy I try but it is like throwing pea on the wall and try to make it stick
Hate to be pessimistic about it but it is what it is....
