Hi,
I wonder if the Swedish PH Eric Rundgren is still alive and if he then still lives in Mocambique?

I am thankful for any information!

Thanks ALF,
That was bad news. I had finally found a Swedish TV journalist that was interested to make something about PH in Africa.

Better try with Harry Selby then!

Why not try with Natascha Illum Berg? She is an author as well.

Martin

Husky: Pick Selby if you want history and Natascha if you want a really nice looking lady nut-her book is quite readable, the title in Swedish should be "Röd jord" (eng. Red Earth).

She is not only good looking and charming (and Swedish/Danish). She is also very good at defending hunting and is a very good ambassador for hunting in the way she argues for hunting as a way to relate to nature.

Husky, you might have seen the Danish TV program, shown in Sweden, about hunting in Tanzania where she described how the locals and the game populations benefited from hunting.

You can search on her here, there is at least one thread about her.

Regards,
Martin

Marterius,
I have not seen the the TV program.

cewe,
Yes i have read her book. it is somwhere in the mess called library, probably close to some Playboy magazines.... bewildered

The idea was to (as I understood it) make some kind of mini TV serie about Swedens and Swedes historical connections to the African continent like the TV film "Afrikafararna".

Sounds like a really interesting idea!

As to Ms. Illum Berg, I think that since she is Bengt Berg's granddaughter, she is indeed a link to the historial Swedish connections.

Martin

I believe that another of Rundgren's old partners, Andrew Holmberg, is still very much alive, too.

Husky: I´ll let you in on a secret...all my relatives were PH´s back in the early 1800`s. As for my roots, I´m as Swedish as you can get -Heja Sverige! eek2

For the price of a 21 day Big 5 hunt in Tanzania the reporter can interview me and I´ll tell hin anything he wants to hear. jump

And I´d love to do a search ON the lovely Natascha. Eeker Play hide the bone?
