We are collecting some prize trophies in Mozambique this year. Glen Havens got this very heavy Chobe Bushbuck a few days ago ... measured 17+ inches and is the thickest & heaviest I have seen in a long time.

Kind'a looks like a Nyala/Bushbuck cross!

Now that's a trophy! What a magnificant animal!

It even looks old, and seems to be thin and skinny from frail old age?

Congratulations to both client and PH.

In good hunting.

Nice One Johan!

The Marromeu Complex is home to some splendid Chobe Bushbuck, probally the best gene pool around. Here is another one from same area which shows same horn shape, I took this one with a client down the road from Bahati and have seen several other rams in same class:

Lekker!

Peter. What's the opposite of 'voetsek'. That's what we need for these boesbokke.
