My first African trip is over, how quickly the time goes, but the memories and friendships will endure. I must admit, when I was first asked to go, there was a bit of uncertainty & unwillingness to part with funds I had set aside for a 33 year Anniversary trip with my wife. I spent that night with my hunting buddy in New York waiting for our flight to SA. Worth it? Heck ya !! Zebra,Wildebeast,Blesbok,Reedbok,Nyala,Gemsbok,Warthog. The hunting was fantastic. It was a pure spot and stalk,the way it's suppose to be. The accommidations and exceptional care at the Intibane Game Lodge and Ally Robins Safaris was more that I could have asked for. Allys quite full of himself and boasts of his great Nyala all pushing 28+, and he should. Nothing under 29" was taken. My thanks to Greg Rodriquez of Global Adventures Outfitters, Matt @ Hill Country Rifles for two very nice custom rifles, Tim Wegner @ Blade-Tech.Industries, who is my hunting partner & my wifes new "worst friend", and to many of you who had suggestions of things to take and do that made this a start of a new love, "Africa."
It truly is a spectactular place to visit, hunt, and make memories, again & again...
