Blaser 9.3 x 62 286gr partition all pass thru shots except the kudu.

Ruger express 30-06 180gr north forks, all pass thru shots except wildebeast.

I'll post pics and weights of the bullets.

All hunting was walking/stalking. Sometimes walking, crawling, scooting on my butt, Shots were off Jochen's shoulder. Amazingly steady, all textbook one shot, dead by the time we walked up to it. (Except one blown off hand shot at a hog) Shots from 30-140 yards. Very selective about shots and animals. No moving shots, all broadside. Jochen is an extremely skilled hunter. Knows all the birds names etc. It is obvious he has a true love of the land and animals.

My brother shot mostly larger trophys than me. In addition to blesbok and waterbuck. There are many other species we didn't shoot that are available.

Okatjuru is about 80 miles north east of windhoek. The quality and quantity of game was fabulus. Jochen Hein is the owner/ph. His father started game farming 25 years ago. The first in the area, and they thought he was nuts! The game is all native for several generations. He has 3 areas, 2 high fenced, one low fence. My brother and I had the whole place to ourselves. The facilities and equipment were first class. We thought every meal could not be topped, but the next was just as good. The service from arrival at the airport to checking the guns when leaving was perfect. Jochens family was generous and kind. I was all but choking back tears when we left. We put a deposit down for 10 days in 2006. If you are thinking of going to Namibia, check out www.okatjuru.com
