I seem to recall Jack owned a home and hunting property in South Africa.

David Toms is a hunter as is Davis Love. Love is an avid turkey hunter.

Been wanting to weigh in on this one...finally got registered:

If you dig back through the TGTS archives you will find Tom Weiskopf with a Maswa lion.

Jack Nicklaus bow hunted with Peter Vandenburgh in Zim in the early 90's with his son(s).

Another celebrity tidbit that I think old africa hands will find interesting...Hank Williams Jr. is the only person I know of that has hunted with BOTH Wally Johnson AND Cotton Gordon.

I'd realized Jack was a hunter, but I have seen him on TV fishing shows.

I must be dumb - it took me a while to realise that Jack Nicklaus isn't the actor who said "Here's Johnny" in The Shining .....
