Here are the photos of these two splendid trophies, mildly speaking!!! Some last minute clients came looking for hunts and Aaron Neilson and I teamed up to put these hunts together with SSG. Congratulations and thank you Nixon. 50.5" Buffalo    The buffalo is quite a story and he is one lucky hunter! The buffalo was wounded in the evening (angling frontal shot) and took off leaving a spotty blood trail. That night it rained!! The following morning the tracks were taken up and after some great tracking it was discovered that the buff had joined a herd. The hunters managed to locate him again and finish the job. Supposedly he was not too worse off for his earlier wound and they reckon he would have recovered! I told the hunter to stop hunting buffalo for good. 50" buff taken with a $500 Ruger....I LOVE IT! Funny how it's always the kid with the $10 Wal-mart purchased Snoopy rod and reel combo who ends up catching the biggest fish.  | |||

SSG safaris operates out of Malapati and Sengwe II safari areas in southern Zimbabwe I have walked in the foot prints of the elephant, listened to lion roar and met the buffalo on his turf. I shall never be the same. | |||
