I know this has been discussed before but I am planning to attend the Jan 11/14 2007 and I am wondering where most guys stay near the hall.

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided for easy access to all venues. The hotel is renovating the guest rooms, only, from October 31, 2006 to January 10, 2007.

You may want to book early at the Marriott since they are doing renovations some rooms could be unavailable.

You mention evening functions at the Hilton Hotel. Is that a new deal this year as usually they always at the market center?

There are no discounts for DCS attendees at the Marriott next year.

As I understand it, all of the banquets that used to be at the Apparel Mart are now going to be at the Anatole. So you can't just walk over like in years past. The Anatole is across the interstate and down the frontage road. They say they will have free shuttles.

I think the convention has hit a limit on how big it can get in its current location.

The AR dinners get togethers are a lot more fun than the banquets!
