When I read T Carr's tips on travel and the Joburg airport stuff noting the date published I need to know what is still current and what is not. Not going until next July but want to get my ducks in a row.

Harry,

I scanned Terry's posting quickly and feel that the majority of the info there is useful. The Jo'burg airport info is out of date. The terminals were updated significantly for the World Cup.

Check the Internet for O R Tambo Airport. I have seen maps & photos of the airport that will help. If I can find the link I will post it later.

I can't comment on the Amsterdam post 'cause I have not flown that leg.

If it has not been updated one thing I know has changed is that the SAPs office where you get your gun permits is now after going thru customs.

Good Hunting,
