We have two rifles we use for this cartridge. One has 23.5 inch barrel, and one has a 26 inch barrel.

And depending on the lot of H4350 powder we are using, the velocity can be anywhere from 2650-2800 fps.

Our standard load is 85 grains of H4350.

We can load 95 grains, and get much higher velocity, but found this load works very well for our hunts.

He already believes the ammo I give him has been doctored to miss!

Trouble is, all 4 of us are using the same ammo!

A few years ago they got very close to a buffalo bull, and apparently it took him too long to shoot it because as he said afterwards "he was saying to me. YOU BETTER KILL ME WITH YIUR FIRST SHOT! OR I AM GOING TO KILL YOU".

"I was trying to remember what you told me where to aim at a buffalo looking at you from 2 meters away"

"If he was two meters you do not need to aim then!"

"He looked 200 meters from ME to shoot. But only 2 meters from HIM to get me"

The buffalo ran off before Walter could shoot it.
