Wednesday June 14, 11:02 AM Emirates Skycargo Flies Wild Animals to New Pastures DUBAI, June 14 Asia Pulse - Emirates SkyCargo recently undertook the special delivery of 255 wild animals from their grazing grounds at a Namibian game park to a second home in Kano, Nigeria. The delivery of the animals was commissioned by the High Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Bauchi State Government, Nigeria on behalf of the Sumu Game Reserve, and they were purchased from the Ministry of Environment and Tourism in Namibia, Emirates said in a statement. The wild animals were transported from Windhoek to Kano, Nigeria by an Emirates SkyCargo Boeing 747-400F freighter charter. The special shipment consisted of young giraffes, elands, plains zebras, kudus, oryx, blue wildebeest, hartebeest, springbok, and impala. Understanding the sensitivities of the animals which were unaccustomed to being held in captivity, all transport was organized to take place at night with animals protected in special crate containers purpose-built to ensure minimal stress or discomfort for the travelling parties. "Periodically we are requested to undertake such charters and are pleased to have established a solid reputation for outstanding service in animal transportation and handling," said Hiran Perera, Vice President Cargo - Freighters. Emirates SkyCargo said its services are compliant with IATA Live Animals Regulations and animal care professionals are always on-hand to ensure that the specific needs of the animals are met. Congratulations to Emirates, Emirates are sure a (top notch go ahead) people and freight carrier it seems. That is good to know that they are wildlife friendly, I guess they are hunter friendly as well with the transport of rifles/ammo. FYI ... I also noticed that Emirates were considering flying from (Dubai to Harare Zimbabwe) in the future, that might be good for hunters to consider that specific route possibly, especially if some of the other Airlines decide to get tougher on hunters ! Absolutely! And if they also go into other African countries, we can spend the night in Dubai, be rested, then continue the next day! I wonder if this has been mentioned before to Saeed! .395 Family Member DRSS, po' boy member Political correctness is nothing but liberal enforced censorship

Considering the Emirates route ex:USA or other to Dubai and onwards to JIA or Harare in the future how about this for DREAMING !!! Here is a possible scenario for consideration by some hunter/entreprenuers ... Maybe if some entreprenual AR GUESTS (under the good auspices and guidance of Saeed) consider (purchasing leasing or other) a nice apartment in DUBAI then that can be used on-route to Africa as required for the guests ... Saeed might possibly !! be able to get a real bargain for an investment apartment and it can be time shared or used as appropriate PROVIDED the guests support Emirates Airlines... Am I dreaming again (-: Cheers ... Peter
