The story states they had their windows down. The park tells everyone to leave their windows up. I guess the couple didn't think the rules applied to them. That lion must have felt the rule needed to be enforced. Tragic but preventable.

you have said before ...'accidents' can happen in Africa,
and you have defended people for being blatantly careless & seriously destructive in what were avoidable disasters.

so why is this person different?

Why are some careless people worthy of your sympathy but other careless people not?

Someone who is not off-trigger when off-target and blindly running backward through bush obstacles with a firearm- is being careless & negligent.

Thats why its called a negligent discharge.

and the girl negligently left the window down.

any mis-directed bullet can only be the careless fault of the gun handler.-

ACCIDENTS DONT JUST HAPPEN,...THEY HAPPEN BECAUSE PEOPLE ARE CARLESS.
