lodging in Windhoek - Suggestions?
15 years ago i lived there... But I never stayed in a hotel. Where do you guys like staying? I need a place for Me, my wife, 16 year old daughter and 13 year old son. I need a place for two nights... then I am going to the coast... then to Etosha... I know where to say then... but where in Windhoek?

Frostbit
Casa Piccolo

Friendly B&B type setting with excellent food.

Take some Maple Syrup with you to give to Claudia. She will be shocked!!

Cheers
Jim

+1 for Casa Piccolo. Conveniently located, safe, and quiet. As Jim stated, Claudia is very helpful.

I’m in agreement with Jim W. And Opus on Casa Piccolo. I’ve stayed there in 2017 and 2015, and will again in 2019. If you’re going to Etosha, make sure you stop in Outjo and buy pastries at the Bakkery. Their Apple Strudel is the best Ive ever had. In May 2017 I gave a big piece of Apple Strudel to Claudia, and she seemed appreciative.
