Anyone Use Handloads in Africa?

Been to Africa five times using handloads exclusively in 338wm, 375 H&H, 375 Ruger, 30-06, 450 Dakota and 500 N.E. calibers. I'll never shoot factory rounds on Safari unless somehow get separated from my handloads.

I shoot only handloads.

Aside from cost, you can do things you can't with factory ammo. In .458 Winchester you can load North Fork flat point 450 grain solids at 2250 and Barnes TSX 350s at 2600 or more. Loads like that simply don't exist in factory offerings.

For hunting I use only new cases, saving the fired ones for practice and working up loads.
