For those drew-ling, you can purchase replica of the great Cape Buffalo skull and horns, that are advertised, just go looking...

MabhinyaI do believe that old feller was in a park in Tanzania and was killed and eaten by lions. It may have been Fred Rademeyer who told me that, and they recovered the horns. Hell I would have shot him and given the meat to the lions!

I agree, it's not like they were going to spend any money on taxidermy anyway.

Funny how the guy Llamapacker told us stole his travelers checks turns out deliver huge trophy after huge trophy.
We should rename Nixon the "Mailman" - after all, he seems to deliver day in and day out.

Mbogo577Hello Friends
I am the photographer of the buffalo photo that Jerry posted. The original is in sepia 35mm and was taken in the Ngorongoro Crater in 2000. I later photographed this exact same buffalo in 2001, in color the second time.
This is not the same buffalo you can buy the replica of, that came out of Lake Manyara National Park and was killed by lions.
I posted this picture on Facebook a week ago, and look how quickly it surfaced! Just shows you the power of the Internet. Although I am glad you can all view it, it does emphasize the importance of copyright and the need to copyright your photos, illustrations, music, etc.
Thank you and kind regards

There is a function on facebook where you can keep anyone from lifting you photos, not sure how to do it yet, but it can be done. You might look into it. I'd like to see more of your pics, do you have a website?

I don't know, he looks a little soft to me. It would be a shame to kill him. Just think how great he would be in a few years!
(This is AR. Someone had to do it. Right?)

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.
Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.
