Thanks again Mike, Doc, and Charlie for the chance to play bwana with some truly impressive rifles.

Jack with the .577, backed up by PH Mike while hunting the rhino.

.577 gives a wee shove to Jack. BOOM

Me and the rhino. This was a .450 NE group. I prefer not to talk about my .577 "patterns."

I stopped by Cabela's on the way home but "she who must be obeyed" was terribly rude when I called her and she questioned my lineage and any opportunities for further procreation if I brought home the Merkel .470NE that was there... Frowner

Badger Matt: I see that you quoted a line from Rider Haggard´s Ayesha...it´s truly a pleasure to meet another fan just here of all places.
Regards and good shooting.

clap dancing Big Grin Joining with these men to break bread and shoot these wonderful rifles is such a GREAT way to spend a morning and early afternoon.

I met two ACES that I had already met on prior shooting dates, Retreever MIKE & Doc52 PAUL.

I also was introduced for the first time to two more fine fellows, Badger Matt & Charlie.

We had double rifles from Belgium - Marcel Thys 9.3x74R, Germany - Merkle 500NE, Italy - Champlin/FAMARS 450#2NE & Luccini, an exquisite sidelock 500NE, and THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, the BIG DADDY, a B. Searcy & Co. 577NE Heavily Engraved, side plated FIRE BREATHING DOUBLE HEADED DRAGON!!!!!!!!!! BOOM

Alphabetically - Charlie, Mike and Paul thank you for bringing your outstanding hunting doubles out for us all to enjoy. wave

Any of these rifles would serve any hunter very, VERY WELL!

Mike, thanks for the TOO COOL targets and all the supplies you bring to make sure our day goes well.

HUGE THANK YOU to BADGER MATT and all the other BRAVE Men and Women in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ARMED SERVICES for giving their all, including in too many cases their health and lives, to keep us here in the homeland safe!!! salute

May GOD ALMIGHTY be with you and bring the needed changes to those places where you fight. thumb

Let's continue gathering, fellowshipping and shooting double rifles till our days are done.

All the best to everyone...

Jack

OH GOD! {Seriously, we need the help.}
