I thought I would pass the following hunt offers along from Buzz Charlton:

1. 2 TUSKLESS COW ELEPHANTS (exportable) ZIMBABWE
12 DAYS AT US$600/DAY
TROPHY FEES OF US$2500 PER COW ELEPHANT
The hide may be exported to make couches, seat covers, etc.

OR

2. 1 TUSKLESS COW ELEPHANT - 7 DAYS DAYS AT US$600/DAY
TROPHY FEES OF US$2500 (the elephant is exportable)

That's only $6,700 for an elephant hunt.

For everyone complaining about the high cost of hunting dangerous game, you can't go wrong on these hunts. Buzz is a great guy to hunt with and ele cows are tons of fun and plenty exciting. I am surprised to see you can export some parts of the cows. I couldn't do this last year! I'll be hunting with Buzz in late June, early July in the Humani.

At the CITES meeting in October of 2004, they voted to allow the commercial trade in elephant hides and leather by Namibia, RSA and ZIM.

Since 9 rounds of .700 NE ammo uses up your 5 kg. ammo allowance for the airline, I can understand why you are not planning to shoot 10 elephants. Smiler Wink

500 grains,

It sounds like I should book this hunt.

What month would you recommend?

Do you know if it is possible or practical to include buffalo on the longer hunt?

Seems like everyone speaks highly of Buzz Charlton.

PS Should I leave my 3 X scope at home?

Andy
