If my sources are correct then quotas have been issued to private unfenced land owners.

The list includes prime hunting destinations such as Nyakolwe, Munyamadzi, Nyamvu and ...

Heard from Laura DuPlooy/Muchinga Adventures this AM that all hunting areas in Zambia will open for '13. There will however be no hunting allowed for lion, leopard and elephant.

Congrats, hopefully the restrictions for lion, leopard and ele will be lifted soon.

Lion and Leopard are still being debated.

We will not make much money but it will pay wages and bolster the community coffers.

This is very good news. I do not know for certain, but I would be surprised if SCI hasn't played a major role in influencing this decision, as the Zambian Minister of Tourism and Arts, Sylvia Masebo, was invited to and addressed the SCI AGM in January.
