| You picked a fine cartridge for elephant, I have seen several big bulls shot with that round with a 500 gr. solid at 2350 FPS with 84 grs. of IMR-4320, and it will darn near cave them in with a heart shot, and they seldom make a lot of tracks...Good luck, elephant hunting is the ultimate hunt IMO, but Buffalo sure does get my attention these days. |
