My business partner has just had to back out of a hunt in the K1 concession of the Selous with Rungwa Game Safaris. This hunt is a full bag 21 day hunt, which was primarily set up for lion and leopard. The dates are November 4 - 24 of this year. I personally will be hunting LU5 and this concession late November and early December. As my safari last year with Rungwa included a nice elephant, 46"+ buff, and a huge lion, I am really looking forward to it.

He has paid a significant down payment which he will lose, but in trying to help my freinds at Rungwa, I am selling this hunt for $24,000 (over a 50% discount). This is inclusive of all daily fees, government and concession fees, and dipping and packing. It does not include trophy fees or air charter.

K1 is indeed owned and controlled by Harpreet Brar of Rungwa, and is one of his premier areas. If any one is interested please contact me.

This is a great price with a well respected outfit. I would however inquire about the temperatures to be expected and when the rainy season begins. Someone should give this serious consideration!

Temperatures will indeed be warm. Questions on rain are certainly valid, however, I don't feel rain is an issue. I hunted close to there last year starting a week later and had no problems. We had a few sprinkles early in the trip, but nothing after that.

I will be hunting this area after this time myself and have picked this time on purpose. If anyone is interested I will have Harpreet contact them directly (via sat phone or e-mail)and they can discuss this issue.
