Very nice bongo. I like the way the intro was done on the video. I assume this will air on tv sometime in the future, look forward to seeing it.

Hi Medved,

Thank you.
Good question, quite difficult to answer... CAR is anchored deep in my mind, I was blessed to spend many years there, but now it is over... But if it reopens I will run there straight away.
Bongos in Congo are about 20% smaller compare to CAR. They live in the real jungle with very few clearings. They are still wonderful but it is not easy to find a 30''.
However the hunt itself is really fantastic, breathtaking, it is such a rush of adrenalin. Following the Baka pygmies on the Bongo track is amazing, getting a Bongo at bai with the basenji dogs is so exciting, and you are close, 10 to 12 m, sometimes closer but you don't see much, some orange spots before you fire...
It is really a great experience.

The back up rifle is a 416 rigby.

Best
Christophe

What a great animal!

Nicely done on a magnificent bongo Christophe and Craig!

Good luck Mike, may the charter gods smile on you guys this year!
