Yep, I've seen the video. I handled one or one like it at the Dallas Safari Club Convention last year. A nice piece of engineering. The bold does not rotate. Only the handle and locking ring in the rear of the action rotate.

I was impressed with the craftmanship of the rifle. It was bulky and didn't seem to balance well in my hands.

While you have to admire the engineering it took to make it, it seems to be the answer to a question not asked. I looked and held it at Dallas last year, very cumbersome. It serves as a good example though, if they can get a rifle to feed two rounds simotaneously, the rest of the manufacturers ought to be able to get one at a time reliably!

I saw one of these at SCI in 2006. It was under glass so no one was allowed to toucy-feely it. It did look very well made, and as I recall, very pricey.

I love this and don't mind posting it for I think the 4th time. The prototype of this rifle was taken to Zambia in the mid 90's for a trial. It exploded in the hands of one of the PH's. I've shaken hands with him and his hand feels pretty funny were they turned his fore finger into a thumb to replace his that was blown off.

In 2000 the company had very generously offered the PH $5,000 in settlement.

UEG - Bobby Hansen's tirade was in 2007. I didn't ruin anyone's brochures or sprinkle their coat with Diet Coke in 2006!

Hmm... I bet a product history like that makes things pretty difficult for their marketing department. =:-0

Too bad about the PH. And too bad he didn't get fair compensation.

Good shooting,
