We will be flying Minneapolis-Dulles-Joberg-Harare, flying out Sunday 2/27. Return flights depart Harare 3/17. Anyone flying those dates interested in meeting up?
I have an early season bull hunt with Buzz at Dande, and am reaching the psychotic stage of preparation.

Buzz is tops, Myles too. We had some fun times with those guys at Reno.

IIRC, he still has one of those early elephants available, so you might be able to negotiate a second bull if you shoot yours early in the hunt. (My wife says it's this kind of thinking that always gets me in trouble!)

Psychotic stage of preparation. Cool

I know exactly what you mean.

The symptoms are that you keep on preparing, even though you're fully prepared, and that you're pretty much useless for doing anything except keeping on with more preparing! Big Grin

Good luck!

Marty, when you say Dande I assume Dande East and not North. East is an excellent place to hunt Jumbo. I hunted there in 2005. If that is where you are going the time is perfect for the elephants crossing over from Moz to raid crops.

Best of luck.

North versus East is still a work in progress. Someone will be in the East the week before I arrive and will provide info on elephant movement.
