When a fellow Outfitter asked where a client of his could hunt Mountain Reedbuck with a bow I offered him the opportunity here on our ranch.

I knew we had some big ones over here but even I was surprised when the client connected with this monster:

Rowland Ward requires a minimum of 6” to be entered in their book with a current record of 10”.

At 8 7/8th inches this is the largest Mountain Reedbuck ever hunted on Sabrisa Ranch and that with a bow!

I thought it was a Common Reedbuck at first glance due to the size…
Congrats to you and your Hunter

This one was shot at a waterhole from a blind high up in the mountain.

hanks. I have couple of reedbuck not great at telling them apart. Common is easy as is Chandler's mountain but the others are tough for me.
