I just got a Hunt Report Email Bulletin, stating that Botswana is reopening lion hunting in 2005. Looks like the quota will be 1 lion per hunting area. Just wanted to pass it on.

Hi Mikeh416Rigby

Thats a pretty nice gun, as your name.
Yes!Botswana has reopened the lion hunting. But only in designated/certain areas.
I have the quota with me in my hand as we speak.

They're selling for ridiculous money though.I'm told that one (18 day hunt) sold at Dallas for US$145,000.

For the same money I could offer the client 3 back to back, 21 day 1x1 hunts in Tanzania including the trophy fees on 3 Lion, 3 Leopard & 3 Elephants and paid for the round trip airfare from the USA.......and left change for the odd Buffalo.
