Now that it appears that the fee crisis is over in Tanzania, at least for the time being, I can relax and prepare for my hunt I leave on September 2 for Dar, arriving on Sept 3 and fly into the Selous to hunt with Pierr'e Van Tonder for 10 days. I had initially hoped to have a 21 day hunt this year, but it didn't work out. On Spetember 11, JudgeG and my wife will fly to Dar and meet up with me in the Selous. My wife will spend the last three days of my hunt with me, and then we will spend 3 days in Dar with a day trip to Zanzibar before flying home on out wedding anniversary on September 18. It will be my wife's first trip to Africa, and after spending so much time flying with JudgeG, she probably won't even notice the tsetse flies. I am taking my tried an true CZ 375, and a fine CZ 458 Lott that JudgeG gave me last year. I hope to get two buffalo a hartebeest, and nyasa wildebeest, and an Impala that JudgeG donated money for, so that we can eat the liver. I also plan on drinking a few Ndovu. Anyone that will be at the SeaCliff on Sept 3&4, or on the 16th and 17th, please look me up and I'll buy. | ||
