Three 4'x 4'x 10' crates delivered by last nights barge yielded the taxidermy results from two safaris.

Even after personally unpacking and now hanging everything in there I'm not sure whats all included but I think theres 6 shoulder mounts, 3 life size, 3 rugs, a bunck of skulls, some leather, tanned full hides and back skins.

Mark Young and Atcheson Taxidermy are to be sincerely thanked for the patience and fortitude to see this monumental task to completion.

Exciting! Cool stuff-giraffe especially.

Very nice. Can you tell me the height on the giraffe? I am curious to see how big a ceiling is required. Thanks.

Where did you take the canoe and what did you take it with?

Not particularly happy with the job on the canoe. Too bright. The greenery around here can be bright but I think it needs to be more muted and not so busy. That ship has come off a pickup on the highway, flown wide and far tied to a float and still won't die.

The giraffe measures 104". I think you can have one done about any height you want. The house has 9' ceilings, (108") so the 104 should be ok. I think the taxidermy bill was $5600.00. Freight from Montana to Dillingham was over $4k.

Scott,

I take no credit for any of this. I just recommended a good taxidermist. Nice trophies. I clearly remember that monster grysbok?
