I found the site while looking for pictures of Cape buffalo in 1999 IIRC. A search resulted in a picture of Saeed with a 49" Outer Circle Duggaboy. I was hooked.

I registered sometime in 2000 IIRC, registering a couple of times since has left me with a "09 December 2001" date.

I am still here and having fun. From Alaska to Africa, whether for work or play, I am always looking to AR.com whenever I have the chance for "entertainment."

Thanks to Accuratereloading .com.

Best,

Funny you mentioned that but I just realized it's been TWO years now... I've really enjoyed this site immensely and thank all of you for your input and entertainment. I've learned alot here and had many many hours of enjoyment on this site - much to my wife's dismay!!

I have been here through a couple of software/server changes, probably since '98 or so. I stumbled across this site searching for reloading data. Probably the best site of it's kind on the net, mostly due to Saeed's generosity and Don's expertese, as well as a very impressive array of knowledgeable members, and of course the inevitable trolls and derelicts, all in all, an interesting cast of characters. A big salute to all!

I too registered in 1998. Lost my screen name a couple of times since. There are a lot of super smart folks on here, some characters too. I am a mauser nut and posts from 'system98 and 'Alf' are great. Remember Bill Tibbe? BPBB?I also liked the cat shoot one. It is good to have a site where the mods. let folks have an opinion, this is the reason I hang here. Thanks,Mark

Great place when it doesn't get into silliness.

I joined 14 July 2002. I found the site while searching for info on reloading for rifles. I mostly lurk, read, and learn. The forums are occasionaly funny, very serious, and sometimes a bunch of folks barking at the moon. We are blessed with so many people who are great sources of information.
Thank you to all that make it happen.

I found the site in August of 98 when I first got internet service. I did a search for accurate arms powder and came up with accurate reloading. I found the info I wanted here and I stuck around. My original member number was in the low 20's, if I remember correctly. Back then the forum was a mess of topics staggered down the screen. You'd get a headache trying to make sense out of it all. My profile got lost in every software change made since 98. I was absent for a year of so while I was in my final year of college, and alot changed while I was gone.

I came over here from huntamerica back when Swamp went nuts (the first time) when he wanted everyone to pay for membership. I don't remember the cause, but things got real crazy, and I left. If someone remembers when that was, I'd wish they'd post it, because I can't place when I came here better than that.

I know that I have never regretted it. Like others, I have been thru at least three "rebuilds" and lost my handle once.

As wild as it get here on occassion, this is the premier location for hunters around the world. It is a model for what a world forum should be like on most days.

Thank you, Saeed, again for this wonderful forum. Kudude

I first joined when Saeed started this forum, after reading Saeeds post on the ShootersTalk forum.

So that's probably 8 years? I have had a couple other names, and I would come home from long deployments and couldn't remember what the hell my password was, so I just started a new one.
