Any one bring a Fly rod for Tigers? If so what size rod and tippet? and what are you tossing at them?

8 weight road and fast sinking line for sure. The best I have found is a streamer type fly on a 4 o hook. We do alot of it in our Moz area and the boats are kitted accordingly! Lately there has been an SA tv series of fly fishing for tiger in our area with the present record for us been 8 kg on fly! ALOT of fun! Cheers Buzz

8 or 9 with good backbone for setting the hook. You will need a wire tippet for the toothy critters. First one that hit made me think i'd hooked a hippo that we had seen earlier.
