That came out very nicely as well. I was not really interested in a Zebra shoulder mount until I saw the pedestals.

Oh well, as Scarlett O'Hara said, "Tomorrow is another day."

I can't think of a better reason to go back and shoot another Zebra.

Excellent mount Jerry. You have captured the subtle details that most people wouldn't notice. That mount deserves a Blue Ribbon. Congrats, LDK

"Peace is that brief glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading" - Thomas Jefferson

Every morning the Zebra wakes up knowing it must outrun the fastest Lion if it wants to stay alive. Every morning the Lion wakes up knowing it must outrun the slowest Zebra or it will starve. It makes no difference if you are a Zebra or a Lion; when the Sun comes up in Africa, you must wake up running......

"If you're being chased by a Lion, you don't have to be faster than the Lion, you just have to be faster than the person next to you."

I have 2 Zebra pedestal mounts and I will be shooting one or two next month the first is a promised flat skin for my partners son and if there is a second it will probably be another pedestal.

Palmer
Jerry,
That looks great.

I have a question.

Some of the pedestal Zebra mounts I have seen have the two front legs left on. How much extra would that cost beyond the cost of a pedestal mount without the legs?

Into my heart on air that kills
From yon far country blows:
What are those blue remembered hills,
What spires, what farms are those?
That is the land of lost content,
I see it shining plain,
The happy highways where I went
And cannot come again.

Palmer,
There will always be a little extra charge for any major form alterations , of course the amount will depend on how extensive the alteration will be.

Jerry did my trophies and I am picking them up Saturday. He sent me a picture of my kudu pedestal mount and it looks great. I hope I can figure out how to post the pictures when I get back home next week. That zebra pedestal makes me want to book my second hunt very soon. Thumbs up for Jerry!!
