i'm looking to book a varmint/cull,management pg hunt. rsa or namibia.

not looking to shoot a 1,000 springbok.

unlimited baboons/jackals a plus.

would feel cheated not to add to my warthog total. Smiler

possibly pickup a trophy or representative duiker or steenbok.

immature not quite tropy males.

not interested in female kudu or impalas but horned or tusked females ok. gotta have a little memento to bring home for show and tell, memories.

have been eyeing up some basic trophy/introductory type hunts that could add varmints and management animals at low cost.

any suggestions as to outfitters and/or areas ?

outfitters and consultants here are welcomed to reply.

We offer a lot of springbuck managment hunting in the Eastern Cape ,some of which is driven and you can shoot up to 10-15-20 springbuck in a day depending on your skills. Adding blesbuck, wildebeest females and smaller warthog shouldnt be a problem.Baboons are everywhere and can be a very tricky job hunting them walk an stalk in the hills

Always wondered what the side bars on these cruisers were good for.

99% of us have side bars on our trucks because we are also farmers that need to load stuff and transport it. It is also safer to transport laborers sitting inside the bars than outside the truck.

I will never again have a truck with no side bars. With a canvas canopy over it you can do so much more than just an open bin.

after weighing in on many fine offers , i've decided on a 16 day hunt with Andrew Mclaren Safaris. the hunt is a general hunt to include varmints, cull , management and trophy animals. most likely i'll sneak in my 1st guinea fowl , those rascals are everywhere.

currently i am in south africa and about a week into my hunt. so far i've hunted and collected 3 kudu bulls ( including a very old fighter with a 3rd horn ), impala , gemsbok and warthog.

saw an incredibly fascinating female gemsbuck with a corkscrew horn , but alas she wasn't available to be taken. even at that she was the icing on the cake for my gemsbok hunt. what a pleasure to view.

currently i am at andrews property and spent a very comfortable night with a nice warm bed already prepared thanks to an electric blanket and a very thoughtful hostess. can't say enough about the welcome basket full of goodies with my favorite bottle of Amarula towering.

having a wonderful time in south africa.

again , thanks to all outfitters who responded to my request.

pigslayer out ( for now )
