Never was much of a Surefire fan and I thought they were over priced and over rated. They could chew batteries quicker than my Bull Terrier.

I almost exclusively use the LED LENSER, however sometime ago I was given a Surefire R! LAWMAN. Rechargeable LED with a max output of 750 lumen.

This has proved to be a great torch and can be easily charged from the car.

Conclusion is that Surefire do make a great torch and for us in the field a reliable and powerful light is an essential bit of kit.

No I am not sponsored. On occasion the PH will tip the client albeit verbally.

I bought the LED conversion kit for my Surefire quite some time ago. The LED bulbs are not as bright as the incandescent bulb, but the LED version is still very bright, and battery life is much better.
