Anyone Interested in AR / Surefire deal?
Anyone interested in an AR members only Sure Fire flashlight deal?
If there is enough interest I will see what I can get going?
Let me know which models your are interested in and NO...I don't have a price yet so don't ask those questions. I am just trying to see what you want so I can see what kind of a deal I can work out on the units you want. It is always a game of quanity and dollars I have to put up first.
It pays to be an AR member and to shop at Hunters Headquarters! Smiler

I use the E2E and like it a lot. Of course, the Aviator model that Boddington endorses would be very cool, but they're muy expensive. The combination of LED and Xenon sure makes a lot of sense in the bush.

This Executive Defendermodel is the first one that has interested me.

I think I've seen this shown in a catalogue in the last few weeks for well under $100. The options are important too, as are the batteries. The run time on these is limited so spare batteries are required.

[You mught also consider the Luxeon Star Hand Torches from Essential Gear -and compare the LED run times and lumens output.]

I look forward to the offering.

I have the C 2 Centurion and really like it. I could always use another Surefire!

They do go through batteries, and the deal from Surefire seems the best ie., a dozen for $15.00. It would be a good deal for AR if you could offer the same pricing on batteries. The spare battery/lamp assembly carrier is a must as well.

Thanks,
RCG

A "deal" on any of them would be appreciated!

I just can't seem to bring myself to spend 100 on a flashlight.

Mims, YES, I'd like a deal on 'Surefire'!

My favorite is the 'Outdoorsman', because is has a simple click buttom on the end to operate, plus the run time is long, and it has an extra-long clip. It's a prefect hunting flashlight.

The 'Aviator' is also excellent, and the 'C2 Centurion' is outstanding.........

What about the U2 digital?

Hefty price tag though.

I can't get excited about such a mundane thing.

I take two mountaineering headlamps. Mountain climbers have a lot at risk at night on the mountain, and that gear works great for hunting.

Mims,
I am indeed interested in any offers on Surefires that might come up, as transport to Sweden ought to be a bit easier to arrange for a flashlight than for a Tuffpak and those lamps are damn expencive here... Smiler

I must add that the prices in the link that Terry posted is quite a bit higher than Cabelas, but of course Cabelas don't offer the full Surefire producet range.

Martin

Thanks guys for your response. I will see what I can get going next week. Keep sending in your request on what you would like.
As to special pricing on the items I may offer on the site. Please keep them to yourselves as I do not offer them to anyone that is not an AR member and I am not trying to create ill will with other clients that buy these products.
If someone wants the AR price then they should have already been an AR member and in here bitching, moaning, laughing, kidding. lying and truely helping out each other like the rest of us have been all this time Smiler.

Mims-

It's funny that you offer this. My wife accuses me of having a flashlight (and knife) fetish. Seems I'm always picking up another light. I've got plenty to keep me outfitted anywhere I'd ever go, but I'm up for another one... Razzer

I'd be up for a basic, personal type light (Nitrolon, Outdoorsman, Original, Aviator, etc type...). I like a light that LOOKS like a flashlight. I am not interested in the weapons lights, etc, but something to toss in my pack when out hunting.

If it looks like the deal is going to proceed, I can narrow it down, or I could go with any of them, depending on what helps the group deal the best.

Keep us posted.

Thanks!

I would be interested in the Outdoorsman

and the Spare Carrier (also a deal on the batteries and spare bulb would be nice). Don't want the lanyard shown in the pic below.

I already have a Surefire combat light, so I am looking for something with a longer run time. The Outdoorsman is not as bright as the combat light but does have a longer run time. I also could use a Spare Carrier for my combat light.

You might also offer the high output lamp for the Outdoorsman, and that way people would have the ability to switch between "very bright/short run time" or "bright/longer run time" with one flashlight.

Regards,

Terry

P.S.
Could you get the AR logo put on the flashlight? I notice they have an SCI logo flashlight. Wink

My PH last year fell in love with my old 6-P and it stayed in RSA. I'd already replaced it with Z2 for duty use.

I've since bought the G2 Nitrolon and like it the best of the three lights. I'd also be interested in a Nitrolon/spare lamp/extra lamp and battery carrier deal.

These things are like potato chips, you can't buy just one. Wink

I'd be interested but I would like to see a model that can switch between bright and dim as well as change the lens from 60 to 120 lumens, including the extra battery pack as an option.

All right, I come up with a wish as well! Smiler

Personally, I should not mind a deal for a bit more powerful flashlight such as a Centurion, Combatlight or - last but not least - a G2Z Nitrolon.
