They would be great for Leopard, but are too soft for most larger plains game. Remember, forgivness is easier to get than permission.

If you talk to Swift, they'll recommend their A-Frame instead of the Scirocco 2 for African plains game. OTOH, JJHACK has used the Hornady 165g InterBond for years with great success (hundreds of kills), and the InterBond is softer than the Scirocco 2. In other words, it isn't designed for it, but it should work okay. Jaywalker

I'm astounded as to how Swift can make such a great bullet in the A-Frame and blow it so bad with the scirocco....(accuracy and fouling) Frankly I wouldn't consider the new one....there's other great choices out there.....like Northforks for example. That said......why not use the A-Frames......sure worked for me!!!!!!!!!!! /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." Terry, I agree on them being perfect for leopard (my main animal) but do you really think they will be too soft for zebra, kudu, and wildebeest? I used the TSX last year and thought that they were too hard....they left no blood, and all exit holes were dime-sized. I used 160 grain in my 7mm Rem Mag. This is why I choose a softer bullet this time. The only animal that they did not exit on was my eland. What do you think?
