I have received the following from Zimbabwe Safari Operators Association of Zimbabwe.

"A Mr. Hendrick Uys from South Africa, of Kanetuta Safaris which also has Zimbabwean directors and is registered in Zimbabwe, has been communicating with a Namibian company reportedly trying to investigagte if their clients would be interested in Elephant Management Program hunts of 100 elephants. Mr Uys apparently began advertising that he had the exclusive rights to what would effectively amount to cull.
This came after the Minister announced an extra elephant quota for population management.
Please be advised neither Mr. Uys nor Kanetuta Safaris has any "rights" on this quota.
